Dr Yasaman Ashley (Chiropractor)

Yasaman Ashley, our clinical director and chiropractor, has dedicated her life to helping others feel their best. After suffering from years of headaches as a teenager, she finally found relief through chiropractic treatment from her uncle, Dr Jamal Ashley (Chiropractor). This experience inspired her to replicate the magic her uncle had done on her.

Years of practising alongside her uncle led Yasaman to acquire the business and take over both clinics upon Dr Jamal Ashley’s retirement. She is passionate about treating pregnant ladies and children from birth and has attended many hours of further training on Paediatric and pregnancy. She is Certified in Neuro-mechanical nutrition and always have handy nutritional tips to help the treatment process. In addition to traditional chiropractic diversified techniques, Yasaman uses dry needling (medical acupuncture) and nutritional advice to complement her treatment.

Outside the clinic, Yasaman enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and staying active. She is always thinking about food!
Yasaman is registered with the General Chiropractic council, the British Chiropractic Association, The Royal college of chiropractic and the Royal college of chiropractic pregnancy and paediatrics faculty.

Dr Stephen Clark (Chiropractor)

Stephen Clark is an Associate Chiropractor at Brigg and Bargate Clinics. He is an experienced Chiropractor and is a Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors (MRCC) and of the British Chiropractic Association. Stephen is registered with the General chiropractic council.

Dr Anna Higgins (Chiropractor)

Anna Higgins is an Associate Chiropractor at Brigg and Bargate Clinics. She is a caring and experienced Chiropractor who joined the team at Brigg & Bargate in 2008.
Anna likes helping patients of all ages with a variety of different conditions. She enjoys helping her patients recover from injury and improving their overall health. Anna achieves this by utilising a variety of different techniques in her treatment sessions. These include Chiropractic Adjustments (Diversified), Dry Needling (Medical Acupuncture), Myofascial Release Techniques and Activator. She believes in helping patients improve performance and function, and in preventing future injury by providing advice on posture and prescribing rehabilitation exercises.
Anna gained her BSc (Hons) degree as a Human Chiropractor from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan in 2007. Anna completed a Post Graduate Certification Program to treat animals using Chiropractic techniques at the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic in Bournemouth in 2010. Prior to this Anna obtained BSc (Hons) degree in Human Biology with Virology from Warwick University. Anna is a Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors (MRCC) and of the British Chiropractic Association and registered with the General chiropractic council.
In her spare time Anna enjoys walking her labrador, running and spending time with her family.

Dr Samantha Clarke (Chiropractor)

Samantha Clarke, is an Associate Chiropractor at Brigg and Bargate Chiropractic Clinic. She graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic College in 2011 and has 14 years of experience in Diversified Chiropractic Technique, treating patients of all ages from toddler and upwards. She loves helping people improve their posture, relieve their pain and enhance their mobility with the goal of achieving the best out of their lives. She has a keen interest in Women’s Health and further training in Chiropractic care during pregnancy and for toddler to teenage children but especially likes working with older patients. She is currently working to expand her knowledge on the topics of migraine, menopause and nutrition. Samantha is registered with the General Chiropractic council, the British Chiropractic Association and The Royal college of chiropractic.

 

In her spare time outside of the clinic, Samantha enjoys hiking, supporting live music and attending folk festivals, knitting, volunteering in local wildlife rescue and spending time with her cat.

Dr Rebecca Leaning (Chiropractor)

Rebecca Leaning is a born and bred Grimsby girl and an Associate Chiropractor at Bargate Chiropractic Clinic, graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC) in 2012, where she was awarded the ‘Mark Davies Memorial Award’ for her enthusiasm for life and all things chiropractic. Inspired to join the profession after seeing her dad struggle with low back issues—and witnessing how chiropractic care transformed his life—she has now built over 10 years of experience, supported by a strong background in sport and fitness. Rebecca is also qualified in medical acupuncture, with a particular interest in electro-acupuncture techniques, and enjoys offering practical lifestyle advice—from daily habits to supplements and general wellness. She believes laughter is one of the greatest medicines and always takes the extra moment to connect with patients and share a story. Rebecca is registered with the General Chiropractic council, the British Chiropractic Association, The Royal college of chiropractic.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her with her family, friends, and chocolate Labrador, Bear, or curled up with a good book (always seeking recommendations)—and she’ll never say no to a sweet treat.

Dr Emily Coleman (Chiropractor)

Emily Coleman is an Associate Chiropractor at Brigg and Bargate Chiropractic Clinics. She loves helping people feel their best and is passionate about not only relieving pain but also enhancing mobility and helping improve people’s day to day lives. Emily’s love for chiropractic all started when she was a teenager and had treatment herself at Brigg Chiropractic Clinic, it was the only effective treatment she found and it inspired her to train and be able to do the same for people in pain as the chiropractor did for her.
Emily graduated with a Masters of Chiropractic degree from the University of South Wales and since graduating has also trained in dry needling to help provide wider options of care and treatment for her patients.
Emily enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them move better and help them live free from pain. She especially enjoys using a diversified technique to help her patients and has a particular interest in those patients suffering from fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. Always aiming to make each visit a positive experience.
Emily is registered with the General Chiropractic council, the British Chiropractic Association, The Royal college of chiropractic.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Emily out walking with her family, at the gym, or curled up at home with a book.

Dr Carmela Arisgado (Chiropractor)

Carmela Arisgado is an Associate Chiropractor at Brigg and Bargate Chiropractic Clinic, where she is committed to helping people feel, move, and live at their best. With a strong passion for posture correction, pain relief, and functional mobility, she integrates the most up-to-date clinical research into her day-to-day practice to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.

As a newer practitioner in the field, Carmela brings fresh knowledge, enthusiasm, and a modern approach to chiropractic treatment. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from active young individuals to older adults seeking improved comfort and mobility. Her clinical interests centre around diversified chiropractic techniques and soft tissue work, particularly for managing both acute and chronic low back pain. Carmela places a strong emphasis on patient education, helping individuals understand their bodies, prevent future discomfort, and feel confident in their recovery.

Beyond the clinic, Carmela leads a very active lifestyle. You’ll frequently find her in the gym working on strength and conditioning, which complements her clinical interest in functional movement and rehabilitation. She also loves travelling and city hopping to discover the best food spots, always eager to try something new. At home, she is a proud dog mum to a Yorkshire Terrier and a Frenchie, who often accompany her on long walks and adventures throughout the Peak District.
